A clear discussion of the use of the old spoil is required. 21) Refer to 780-113. The variance request for the underground mine does not meet the requirements of the regulations. Also, it appears that the area will have subsoil redistributed before the area is graded - Please clarify. 27) What haul road will service the 3/1/80 204 box cut and 8050 pit? 28) It is not clear how spoil will be transported from the 1986 8050 pit to the western part of the mine site. Z9) What roads will be utilized to walk the draglines from the various pits? Generally, the application should clearly identify how spoil will be handled, i.e. how all the final cuts {both dragline and shovel) will be filled and the source of this material. The haul road network to service all the pits should be clearly indicated. The overburden volume calculations for each of the pits should be submitted-include overburden volume, coal volume and volume of pit to-_ be filled, The applicant should review the mine plan maps, (cont'd)
