The response to Section 2.03.4(5) states that <br />H-G is a contiguous surface owner of the coal loadout area. <br />These statements appear to contradict each other. Please <br />clarify the above responses. <br />~~ 2.03.8 1 Please state the number of acres to .be affected during the <br />Block B development phase. Also state the total number of <br />acres to 6e affected over the life of the permit. <br />x2.03.9 The insurance certificate gives no aggregate amount as required <br />Also, does the clause, "all operations of the insured", include <br />blasting? <br />2.03.10.4 Two of the listed permits have expired. One, a blasting permit <br />/ from the Colorado Division of Mines, expired December 31, 1980. <br />V The other, an open burning permit from the Colorado Department <br />of Health expired January 1, 1981. Have renewals of these <br />permits been applied for? Please discuss. <br />~2 03.12 Proof of publication of the newspaper announcement has not yet <br />been received by the Division. <br />2.04.3 General Requirements: Site Description and Land Use Information <br />`2.04.3(2 The application needs to contain a statement of the condition of <br />~/ the land and vegetative cover within the proposed permit area <br />prior to mining. <br />~.04.3(2)(b)(i) The capability of the land before mining needs to be addressed <br />u more clearly and in greater detail. Additional information <br />should include a discussion of soil and foundation characteris- <br />tics, topography, and vegetative cover. <br />,04.3 2 b) ii It is unclear if the productivity figures were obtained from <br />lands under high levels of management. Please clarify. <br />
