by hoisting machinery. Cables ara in good condition.

safety clutches, which ire tested once a week. Signal
codes are posted in conspicuous places. All Persons
are Drohiblted frola riding on laeded cage, ekiP or
bucket. Shafts at all stations are provided With guard
rails. Anew B00 foot shaft. naa sunk this year 1600
feet east of main t>>nrtel.
