Cage•is equipped ovith bonnet and safety clutches, <br />.and the same were tested about two weeks ago. The humble <br />safety hook is employed to prevent over.-winding. Material <br />is hoisted from two levels. Ho eager is employed. <br />A 3/8" wire bell line att.ached,to an eight inch. gong <br />is employed. The state code of signals is used. Code of <br />signals is posted in engine room, at collar of shaft and. <br />each level station. Persons are prohibited from riding on <br />loaded cage; skip or bucket. Notice stating. the maximum <br />number of men permitted to-ride upon cage at one time is <br />posted. at collar of shaft and at each level station. The <br />Hendrie and Bolthoff type of ohairs is er,~ployed on cage. <br />Guides art3 4" ?~ 4" Uregon pine. All level stations are <br />provided with passsi~e-tvay around ~~~orking shaft. The shaft <br />at all stations is provided with glzard rails.
