The gol3 ore mined from the fissure at praeent aacurs
~ in the WhitA Lime and while the general average of all the
ore mined is about five ounces in gold to the tan, there
are some pieces oP ore the size of an egg which are largely
gold and make Pine oabinet epeoimente.
This free gold occurs in bunches throughout the Quartz
vein filling, but they seem to make from a small oxidized
streak in the vein that appears to be continuous.,
DEVELOPMENT.
The property is opened by a well timbsred tunnel 1700
feet long, which connects with the Hlack Prince and Ibex
properties thus aaueing more than a sufficient circulation
of air Por good ventilation and affording two additional
exits Pram the mine. From the tunnel level upraises are
made into the stapes on the contact deposit, which raises
are provided with oommon board chutes Por loading purposes
and separate man-ways and ladders,also from tunnel level
are two winzes about three hundred feet apart. The first
winze in is known ae No. 3 and tho second winze in le Dolled
the Palmer Winze.
No. 3 winze ie 339 feet deep while the Pnlmor winze is
408 feet deep and a Qrift from the bottom oP the Palmer winze
conneots with a Qrift from tho 271 foot isvol of No.~ mime
by means of a raiso whioh Se provided with a good man-way and
ladder.
Approximately there is 746 feet of shafts, 1800 Peet oP
drifts and aroseouts and 2000 feet of winzee and raieoe in
this property.
