EXPLOSIVES. <br />ni <br />4 I' li, <br />i ~~~ <br />r'i~~ i~~ <br />r~~,~~ <br />~; I'~I <br />The explosive used is 1-1~8", 40~ giant gelatine, <br />4X cap a, and German insoloid fuse. <br />The above is stored in a 4 x 6 frame magazine, set <br />in dump, and located about 150 ft, south of tunnel. The <br />above contains coils of pipe heated by steam, and planed <br />under rack on which powder is placed to be thawed. <br />The magazine is in poor condition, not having <br />sufficient oovering, and in a dangerous positiott, owing <br />to the fact that waste rock has fallen upon same, caving <br />in the roof, The average amount of explosives kept in <br />storage being b00~, <br />An iron pipe ti+ith wooden plugs in ends, ie used as <br />a tamping bar, <br />
