oast and 40' west. At the 20U-Pt. level a arose-cut has been
run south 12b' to where it interseota-the Evening Star vein.
Drifts have boen run east 250' and west 20u; where work ie.oar-
ried en at present. The west drift is being exteadod and :stop-

en at the 3UU-Pt. level to out the Liorning Star vein.
Tbore are several shafts, pits sad exoavationa on this
property but all are abandoned and are in bad condition.
An additional Bait is provided through a-ahaft west of
the aeia shaft. This shaft aonnoata with the mein shaft at the
200' level. Tho apart la deeper than this but is only kept in
repair do-rn to this point. The exit is kept in good repair,
equipped with sate and aooesaible ladaera and else o"1de to s
~ better ventilation.
Steen is used Yor hoisting. The man are raised aa4 lowered
with the hoiatin~ mr+ohinery. A weight of 2,000¢ ie hoisted at
ono-time with a 3/4 inoh steel wire oable that has boen in use
4 nontha and ie in good oondition. There Se no eatotg hoot. in
