The bre produoed Prom this mine has been found in the
dolomite and blue lime in the Form of contact deposits, some
of which are very good size being as much ae 200 feet long,
100 feet wide and over 100 Peet vertical. The ore above the
eulphide zone were made up of the carbonated and oxides of
copper, lead, ainc and iron and below the dxidized zone they
consist of the sulphides of the same metals together with a
gangue ar vein filling of iron carbonate (Siderite).
The oxide are which extended down to about the 9th
level was soft and the etopee had to be securely timbered, but

~'I be safely opened, entirely without timber as long as a shell
of the hard eulphide are be left as a casing to hold the
ground above.
