7 <br />Properties under Bond.-Of the properties mentioned in the last Annual <br />Report as being under bond to this Cornpauy, the Columbia Miue has been <br />abandoned; while the Fraction Claim, lying between the Aigentiue No. 2 and <br />Red Cloud Claims, has been purchased. From Mr. Hsuaox's report it will be <br />noted that this acquisition is proving highly satisfactory. <br />New 60=Stamp Mill.-The new 60-Stamp Mill commenced working ou the <br />3rd November, 1902, and was in continuous and successful operation until the <br />1st September last, when the strike commenced, and it had to be shut down. <br />The Directors have much pleasure in again expressing their appreciation of <br />the manner in which the work at the Mine has been carried out during the past <br />year by -Zr. Hnxrox and his staff. <br />Mr. W. BATLY, the Director retiring in rotation according• to the Articles of <br />Association, offers himself for re-election. <br />Messrs.
