<br />Shaft house 44 x 121 ft, frame, containing gallows frame, 8 post type,
<br />14 x 14, 60 ft, high, with 6 ft. iron sheave wheels.
<br />One 17ebster, Camp & Lane, first motion hoist, double
<br />cylinder 20 x 48, double spool, carrying 5" flat rope. Brakes operated
<br />by compressed air. Capacity unbalanced, load of 8000 lbs. 1500 ft.
<br />per minute. Provided with positive indicator.
<br />One double 8 x 10 1d. & S. friction clutch, 25 H. P,
<br />hoist, used for operating "dinky" cage, occupying east compartment of

<br />66 in, in diameter, and 110 ft, high; coal bins, steel construction,
<br />capacity, 40U tons, same being provided with e double 8 x l0 in, F,13,
<br />flat friction hoist, for hauling side dump coal cars, 72 cubic ft,
<br />capacity, from railroad siding to coel bin; two Cameron boiler Peed
<br />pumps with hose connections for fire,
<br />A wing to the west of shaft house, is in the course
<br />of construction, and contains a new, b0 drill, ingeraoll, Sergeant
<br />Compound Air Compressor, which will be started up in a Pew days.
<br />Ore house, 4b x 90 ft. S, E, of shaft house, oontain-
<br />ing bins, tables and washing machinery for the sorting and washing
<br />of .the ore.
