This tunnel should cut the Jumbo Vein with <br />about 300 feet more driving, at a point b0 feet deeper and <br />12600 ft. further into the mountain than where this vein is <br />now opened at the breast of the Philadelphia Tunnel. Only <br />'e small' tonnage of ore has been mined through the Toledo <br />~Tunnol up to the present timo. <br />The Toledo. Tunnel is 8x8. in pho clear and is equipped with <br />compressor, power .drills, blacksmith shop, powder house, No. <br />I3 Buffalo Fan, Mina Cars and traalc. The aompressor-le a 9x8 <br />8 dx811 and is drivetl by a 36 H.P. P.W. Motor. Tha tunnol is electrically lighted <br />but no mining is being done at present. <br />PHILADELPHIA TUNNEL. <br />`Phis tunnol le driven on the Jumbo Vein and is 1n a dletattoe <br />of 1300 feat.
