~t., <br />GEOLOGY. ,~ <br />The country rock consists of a gneiesio, or banded <br />granite cut by dykes of Andesite,'Pegmatite and Hornblende, <br />~i and a vein system, having a general strike ranging from <br />II N. 45o E. on the one hand, and E. and l7, on the other, the <br />Aill vein being the exception, its strike being about S. <br />i <br />76o E. <br />The veins are oY the Gash-fissure type, ranging in <br />I width from a few inches, to 6 ft „ and consisting of a <br />' quartzose and feldspathic mixture, inpYegnated with lead <br />and zinc sulphides, with some iron and copper pyrites, <br />I together with streaks of lead and zinc sulphides carrying <br />additional values in gold and silver, <br />iI <br />
