Cormrents also describe any enforcement actions taken During <br />the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. This former underground mine was reclaimed and reseeded in <br />1996 and early 1957. The mine has achieved a Phase II bond release for the <br />majority of the disturbed area. Rain fell intermittently during the inspection <br />and the ground was wet and muddy with standing water in places. <br />Signs and Markers <br />The operator should ensure that the necessary information in accordance with Rule <br />x.30.2 is added to the mine identification sign at the mine entrance bAfnre the <br />July inspection. <br />Revegetation <br />The vegetation on the site continued to appear stunted due to extreme drought <br />conditions. Rain fell during the inspection and should improve vegetation <br />conditions. However, soil moisture was checked and dry soil was encountered at <br />about two inches in depth. Some plants are attempting to flower and smooth Brome <br />plants were setting seed heads. although the plants appeared stressed. Litter <br />cover from previous growing seasons appears good in most areas.
