• <br />(Page 4) • <br />MINE ID # ~~R PROSPECTING ID k M-1999-029 <br />INSPECTION DATE 3/28/00 ~ INSPECTOR'S INITIALS CLK <br />The following problems (PB) and/or possible violations (PV) (and suggested corrective <br />actions) w=_re identified during this inspection. The problems should be corrected by the <br />dates give[[, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be <br />corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all <br />corrective actions taken. <br />PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS <br />AND <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />CORRECTION <br />DATE <br />1. Water is being impounded in the concrete storage area This storage of concrete May 5, 2000 <br />rubble in water is not covered under the current permit, and is in contradiction of PB or PV PB <br />Rule 6.4.4(c) of the Construction Materials Rules and Regulations. TOPIC(S) BG <br />CORRECTTVE ACTION: Either a technical revision must be submitted, in <br />compliance with Rule 3.1.5(9), describing the reclamation measures to be taken in <br />storing the concrete in water, or the water must be drained from this azea within 30 <br />days, and proof of same sent to DMG. <br />2. One of the tanks in the process area did no[ have a containing berm or tank and irs May 5, 2000 <br />come its are unknown. This is in contradiction of Rule 3.1.6 of the Construction PB or PV PB <br />Materials Rules and Regulations, which states that disturbances to the prevailing TOPIC(S) SF <br />hydrologic balance will be minimized. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Test the tank's <br />contents, and if they are found to be either fuel or wastes, place a berm or other <br />containment azound the tank Notify DMG of actions taken within 30 days. <br />3. <br />PB or PV <br />TOPIC(S) <br />
