III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE ~~ ~/ C--g~~~~
~~ ~~~ r'S~surr 2vn/ ~
Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations
made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during
the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action.
Reveaetation/Reclamation Success (cont.): Vegetation is beginning to grow in the rill
and gully area that was recently fixed in the Marr Pit Area. The vegetation at the
loadout is growing nicely. There are no erosional problems at the loadout. There do
appear to be some areas that are not draining properly to the pond, though.
The reclaimed areas appear to be in good condition and are recovering nicely since
the grazing that was done in May/June. There are six dead cattle in and around
pond A that need to be removed from the site.
Slides and Damage: The area in the Marr Pit that was reworked because of erosion
has been reseeded. It appears to be stable at this point. The rill and gully areas in Pit
1 also appear to be stable. These areas will be monitored for continued stability.
