noted that since the last inspection a building had been built on the <br />site. This building was built before Mr. James Dilley inspected the <br />mine site. He noted that the building was not on the effected mining <br />site. Since we have been paying Chaffee county taxes on the <br />building since 1996. EnGosed find the Chaffee County Assessor's <br />Property Profile. Also stated by the inspector that the land is zoned <br />residential....this is incorrect. We are located at 12,200 feet above <br />sea level and 6 miles from any services, making the land zoned <br />agricultural, NOT RESIDENTIAL. We had to comply with agricultural <br />zoning rules, as we did. After contacting the officials at the Zoning <br />and Assessor office for regulations, they responded that it is <br />agricultural and there no regulations for agricultural, a buidling <br />permit is not needed in that area. We have requested a letter from <br />the local zoning authority and they showed no interest in filling our <br />request. If anything furthur should be received on this issue we will <br />send to the division for your file. <br />
