The hoary cress was treated with
Telar and 2,9-D, and the thistle and burdock was treated with
Transline. The area was treated again in late September with
Curtail. There are a lot of weeds in the surrounding areas.
I have been working with August Nicolas on a weed management
plan for his ranch and I will ask him to be more aggressive on
the land surrounding the pit. The area to the west of the pit
seems to be the worst. The sheep have managed to keep the
weeds down to the south and east. August is very cooperative
and I know he will work with me.
If you have any questions concerning the noxious weeds and
their treatment, please contact me at 970-641-4393.
incerely, /~~
Adena L.
