III. COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of <br />observations made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement <br />actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the <br />enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado <br />Division of Minerals and Geology. Dave Wallace represented the operator <br />during the inspection of the surface facilities, and Sandra White <br />represented the operator in outlying areas and during the records check. <br />with the operator's consent, this report was not issued from the Denver <br />office. <br />A few inches of snow was melting <br />Right. <br />The longwall recently is in panel 14 <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS <br />All required records were available (see attached checklist). <br />SIGNS AND MnRxF'RS <br />Mine i.d. signs and topsoil markers were properly displayed at numerous <br />locations inspected. <br />ROADS <br />Haul-roads, access-roads, and light-duty roads throughout the permit area <br />were in good condition. Dust was under control. Down-drains and sediment <br />traps along Haul Roads B and C were in good shape. <br />Construction of the batch-weigh loadout haul road is complete. The <br />construction appears consistent with the design approved in TR-30 and TR- <br />41.
