' ponds. The old pond is on undisturbed ground and was containing water from the
drainage area. It is my understanding that Pond OSP-C has never held water.
Block D
The application indicates that the bond reduction on this 164.3 acre block would be
$32,860. A permit revision has been submitted to leave Pond M as a permanent
structure, but according to the State, the application was not complete and had not
been approved at the time of the inspection. The company also plans to revise the
Twentymile Coal deep mine permit to include a drill pad, approximately 100ft. x
100ft., but at the time of inspection it had not been approved. These situations
need to be addressed before Phase III bond release can be considered.
The conditions and situations mentioned above may not be all inclusive. The State
regulatory authority may require the company to address other issues before
additional bond can be released. Phase II and III bond release of these areas is
not recommended at this time.
v `f Y
