~. ~ (Page 3) <br />MIIYE_ID ~ OR PROSPECTING ID # M-77-392 <br />INSPECTION DATE 10/27/99 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS AJW <br />The following problems (PB) and/or possible violations (PV) (and suggested corrective <br />actions) were identified during this inspection. The problems should be corrected by the <br />dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be <br />corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all <br />corrective actions taken. <br />PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS <br />AND <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />CORRECTION <br />DATE <br />1. The operator has failed to employ methods <br />control for all prohibited noxious weeds. <br />the site contained an infestation of the <br />noxious weed, diffuse knapweed (Cen taurea <br />which was beginning to spread to adjacent <br />areas. <br />of weed 02/28/00 <br />Specifically, PB or PV: PB <br />prohibited TOPIC(S): MP, <br />diffusa), RS, RV, OD, FW <br />non-affected <br />Corrective actions are to: <br />1) Submit a technical revision to the <br />permit application incorpora[ing a <br />noxious weed control plan for permit <br />m-84-076 which includes at a minimum: <br />target species methods of control <br />(ie: chemical, physical, cultural, <br />biological etc.), treatment windows, <br />follow-up and reporting methods (ie: <br />annual report). <br />
