The March 1980 Major fodification approval letter from <br />• OShJ was not accessible due to the absence of the central file clerk. <br />A copy of this letter is available at the Denver OSM office. <br />During the next OSh1 inspection, on-the-ground compliance with <br />archaeological stipulations in the March 21, 1980 Major fodification <br />approval must be checked. These stipulations can be found in t'ne <br />Energy Fuels Approval Package iri the OSfq office library. <br />715.12 Signs and Markers <br />Signs and markers were posted as required. <br />715.14 Backfillinq and Grading <br />6ackfilling is an ongoing operation at these mines. Spoil ridges <br />appeared to be at a minimum. Bonds have heen released on two 30 <br />acre parcels of reclaimed land. These areas were mined pre-law. <br />715.15 Disposal of Excess Rock and Earth <br />There is na processing waste generated at these mines. <br />One of the two excess spoil disposal was started this spring. A <br />rock drain and a toe buttress have been placed. These disposals <br />are classified as valley fills, (Page S15-95 Energy Fuels Corporation <br />• f4ajor Modification). Design specifications include four foot lifts, <br />90 percent compaction, a 3:1 overall slope, 50 foot vertical bench <br />
