Fish and Wildlife
A large coachwhip, or red racer snake. was observed on the southeast side of the RDA.
After posing for a photograph, it retreated to a burrow on the outslope of the pile. Six cow elk
were also observed grazing in this area. The reclaimed mine site seems to provide grazing
andlor hunting opportunities to these observed species.
T~ ~ ~ , y`. s. by
,
~ ,,{.~ M ~ ~ :. ti .gip _y`(~~r. _ ~ . . w
! o. ~+ ~ .
r ~ ~ N `R`
~~~1tt ~4 ~Y•fCt ~~~~~ ~ :.~ ~ ~ ~-, 4p,` i -•' 4~1~,b w Y'.~
ti. ~_
•` V ~ ~ ~
~4J ~ ~ ~~Z~~~~~i
w a
i ~ ~ '
i` ~h:._a ,-t~ .t °\t~^, ~ ~`.,_~~•3 •.'
