Compliance with Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act <br />4.14 Backfillina and Gradi <br />No backfilling and grading will be done until final reclamation. <br />4.15 Revegetation <br />The sediment pond, diversion ditches, and topsoil stockpile were seeded in the Fa11 of 1980. <br />Seedlings were noted to be emerging at all seeded locations. Revegetation success will be <br />assessed this summer. <br />4.16 Post Mining hand Use <br />Range - Wildlife habitat which is the present use of the adjacent land. <br />4.17 Air Resource Protection <br />This mine is very small and has an insignificant affect on air quality. <br />on of Fish Wildlife and Related Environmental Values <br />Approximately 3 acres is disturbed by this mine, thus any effect is insignificant. <br />4.20 Subsidence Control <br />No subsidence problems from the recent mine workings are evident from the ground at this <br />mine. A depression believed to be due to subsidence from the old original workings was <br />observed. <br />4.24 Operations on Alluvial Valley Floors <br />The mine is not operating on an AVF but may be adjacent to one. <br />4.25 Operations on Prime Farmlands <br />This operation is not on prime farmlands and according to the Soil Conservation Service, <br />no prime farmlands exist in Gunnison County. <br />
