Compliance with Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act <br />CRS 1973, as amended 34-33-101, et. se ., <br />and the <br />Rules and Regulations Issued Pursuant to the Act <br />This includes a listing of the particular provisions.of the regulatory program which were <br />examined during the course of this inspection, and identifies enforcement actions taken <br />during the inspection for failure to comply with the Rules and Regulations, the Act and <br />the permit. <br />4.01 General Provisions <br />A11 requested records were available. <br />9.02 Signs and Markers <br />Perimeter markers and mine I.D. sign meet all reguirments. <br />d_O? Rnar7.c <br />The access road to the mine is adequately maintained. <br />4.04 Support Facilities <br />Not applicable to this mine. <br />4.05 Hydrologic Balance <br />The dewatering pipe for the sediment pond was cleaned as requested during the February <br />inspection. The rest of the pond and the diversion ditches were in good shape. No water <br />was observed in the sediment pond. <br />4.06 Topsoil <br />The topsoil stockpile was seeded during the fall of 1980. Location and grading are adequate. <br />4.07 Sealing of Drill Holes and Underground Openings <br />Not applicable until final reclamation. <br />4.08 Use of Explosives <br />Explosives are used entirely underground. <br />4.09 Disposal of Underground Development Waste <br />9.10 and 4.11 Coal Processing waste Banks and Coal Processing Waste <br />No coal processing waste is produced at this mine. <br />4.12 Slides and Other Damage <br />No significant slides were noted during the inspection. <br />~ 4.13 Contemporaneous Reclamation <br />The disturbed area will be used throughout the life of this mine therefore, this does not apply. <br />
