III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the <br />inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or <br />evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />To avoid unnecessary loss of topsoil and to stabilize these azeas, please complete the topsoil <br />redistribution and seeding at these locations within 90 days from the issuance of this inspection <br />report and notice of violation. Please refer to the abatement steps on the attached NOV CV- <br />2003-005. <br />Reve etg ation <br />Troublesome weeds were identified at many locations at the Seneca II Mine site. Houndstongue <br />was noted at many of the stock pond locations particularly on cut slopes and embankments. <br />Whitetop was spotted in the East Wadge Pit area, and at several locations in the Wadge pasture. <br />Please take aggressive measures to control the growth of noxious and troublesome weeds <br />throughout the Seneca II mine site. <br />
