Please note this Office's reply to United's <br />responses to the five items from the inspection report. <br />Item 1 is considered abated with submitted documentation and the requested TR-04. Please be <br />aware that baclcfilling the slopes will reflect higher cost for reclamation. This has aheady been <br />calculated for the existing disturbance in the bond review done on 10/3/01. A review of the bond <br />in the future may require a further increase unless reclamation in other azeas offsets current <br />disturbances. <br />Item 2 is considered abated. A letter from the Division of Water Resources along with <br />documentation from United clarifies the water usage issue. The TR-04 addresses the existing <br />ponds with new maps and then usage. <br />Item 3 is considered abated with the following stipulation. In order to approve the TR-04 a <br />statement from United as to exact seed mixture needs to be included. It is recommended that <br />United use the same seed mixture as required in final reclamation. <br />Item 4 is considered abated. Please submit a signed copy of'the contract with San Miguel Basin <br />Weed Program when it is fmalized. <br />Item 5 is considered abated with the following caution. In the future, when the portable plant is <br />on site, it must have the required berms as specified within the permit. <br />
