• • <br />(Page 3) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-81-276 <br />INSPECTION DATE 3/1/2000 <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS TAS <br />The following problems (P8) and/or possible violations (PV) (and suggested corrective <br />actions) were identified during this inspection. The problems should be~ corrected by the <br />dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be <br />corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered oy the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should b<: notified of all <br />corrective actions taken. <br />PROBLEMSfPOSSIBLE VIOLATIONS <br />AND <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />CORRECTION <br />DATE <br />1. The operator confirmed via site survey that there is currently 3/3112000 <br />34 acres of disturbance at the Hertzog Pit. The mine plan <br />specifies a maximum disturbance at any one time of 10 acres. <br />CORRECTIVE ]1CTIONS PV or PB PB <br />Submit an application for a technical revision to revise the TOPIC(S) MP <br />maximum allowable disturbance at any one time. Based on the <br />current disturbance at the site, the maximum allowable <br />disturbance must be at least 34 acres. The Division will <br />evaluate the reclamation cost and required financial warranty <br />based on the operator's desired maximum allowable disturbance. <br />
