Auger Mutiny <br />Auger mining activities were observed in the upper East Taylor drainage. Here two <br />connected rectangular pit areas are being developed for auger mining using the Addcar <br />technology. The mining machine was not operating on this day. boles are required by Rule <br />4 23.2 to be sealed within 30 days of completion No open holes were observed along the <br />highwall indicating compliance with the Rule. No drainage of water from the highwall area <br />was noted. The operation appeared in compliance with Rule 4,23 and with the approved <br />permit. <br />
