III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below aze comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the inspection. Comments <br />also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />GENERAL. MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />Operations were in compliance with the general mine plan. Coal was being withdrawn and shipped by rail and <br />truck from the various stockpiles. <br />Work was underway on construction of the 18-Right Ventilation Shaft. The shaft had been driven some 860 <br />feet, with 130 feet to go. <br />EXCESS SPOIL & DEVELOPMENT WASTE <br />Cuttings (development waste) from driving the 18-Right Ventilation Shaft were being deposited in the pit <br />prepazed to receive them. <br />C-1982-056 CP Inspection of Apri120, 2005, Page 4 of 5 pages.
