III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />x ] 1 <br />No problems were observed at the cap and powder houses. <br />Coverfill Stockpile <br />There were no erosional problems at the covetFll stockpile. <br />G b ile <br />Gob material was being placed on the gob pile at the time of the inspection. The <br />underdrain was still exposed, as per the design. Also during the inspection, the central <br />ridge above the present level was being excavated. The material was being used as cover <br />over the outslope of the first gob pile lift. <br />Facilities <br />The operator is almost done building the parking lot next to the portal bench. A <br />considerable amount of coal has been removed from the portal bench. The operator was <br />able to ship the coal out. There were no problems with any of the facilities. <br />Slope Stability <br />The operator has begun repatr operations on the slide behind the warehouse. No <br />movement in the visual movement markers was observed at the slide above the portal. <br />Revegetation <br />Some of the haul road outslopes have a fair amount of vegetation on them, while others <br />have spazse vegetation.
