r
Hayden Gulch Mine; q~. 2
The third clump was the most successful by far with respect to shrub establishment and
ground cover both. We flushed a covey of 6-8 sharp-tailed grouse from the clump. This
area is basically flat, very stable with excellent ground cover-and hardy shrub
establishment. We concluded the inspection at the 1994 slump area, anorth-facing slope
at the southern end of the reclaimed area. The areas inspected appeared stable with no
evidence of excessive surface cracks or soil movement evident. Most of this area is well
vegetated, with some small bare and litter areas evident. The primary drainage way
through the reclaimed area is stable. This concluded the inspection.
Please address any questions concerning this report to Henry Austin at
haustin@osmre.eov or to (303) 844-1400 x1466.
