<br /> <br />This was a normal monitoring inspection conducted by Tony Waldron of DMG. There was no <br />operator representative present during the inspection. The site is located approximately 14 <br />miles north of Parkdale, Colorado and just off of Fremont County Road 2. The site is <br />primarily located on the southern flank of a small mountain commmon to the area. The county <br />road forms the permit boundary along the southern side of the permit area. This site was <br />issued a permit on April 10, 1999 and mining has not commenced at this time. <br />As mining has not begun there were no operational problems noted, however, the mine <br />identification sign had not been posted and the permit boundary was not clearly marked.
