The problems should be corrected by the <br />dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be <br />corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all <br />corrective actions taken. <br />PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS <br />AND <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />CORRECTION <br />DATE <br />Failure to have mine identification signs properly 8/26/96 <br />posted at the mine entrance ae required by Rule 3.1.12. PB or PV PB <br />TOPIC(S) SM <br />Corrective Action <br />The operator shall poet a mine identification sign at <br />the entrance to the mining operation which contains the <br />name of the mine, a statement that a reclamation permit <br />has been issued by CMLRD, and the permit number as <br />required by rule 3.1.12(1). A photograph showing that <br />this has been completed should be submitted to the <br />Division prior the expiration of the corrective action <br />date. <br />2. Failure to have perimeter markers properly placed to 8/26/1996 <br />clearly identify the affected area. PB or PV PB <br />TOPIC(S) SM <br />Corrective Action <br />The operator shall delineate the affected area of the <br />permitted acreage with markers (such ae painted t- <br />poste) ae required per rule 3.1.12(2). These markers <br />should be placed in such a way that it allows a person <br />to stand at one marker and observe a second marker and <br />so on. A photograph showing that this has been <br />completed should be submitted to the Division prior the <br />expiration of the corrective action date. <br />Failure to include disposal of potentially hazardous 7/26/96 <br />materials in the reclamation coat estimate and failure PB or PV PB <br />to handle potentially toxic materials to prevent damage TOPIC(S) AT and <br />to the drainage eyetem. FN <br />Corrective Action <br />If the material is not removed within 30 days of <br />receipt of this report, the reclamation estimate will <br />be recalculated to include the coat of removing the <br />material. If the materials are to be kept on site, a <br />containment berm must be constructed around each barrel <br />of product to prevent damage to the surface drainage <br />eyetem. If the material is moved off site, the proper <br />tracking forme for disposal of hazardous materials <br />should be submitted to the Division along with <br />photographs showing that the items have either been <br />removed or properly bermed. <br />
