III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a complete inspection conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado Division of Minerals and <br />Geology. Ross Gubka represented the operator. The ground was dry. With the operator's consent, this report <br />was issued from the Denver office. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS <br />All required records were available (see attached list). <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS: <br />Mine i.d. signs were properly displayed at the two entrances. Topsoil markers were properly displayed at several <br />locations inspected. Permit boundary markers were in place at the numerous locations visited around the mine. <br />ROADS <br />Haul roads and access roads were in excellent condition. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE: <br />Construction of pond 012 is nearing completion.
