The problems should be corrected by the
dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be
corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land
Reclamation Hoard. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all
corrective actions taken.
PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS
AND
CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
There were no markers present to adequately delineate
the permit boundary.
Pursuant to Minerals Rule 3.1.12, permit boundaries
must be marked. The operator moat install boundary
markers, and provide evidence of such installation, by
the date shown. (The correction date will allow for
seasonal inaccessibility of the site, but corrective
actions should be performed ae soon as it is feasible.
2. There are several old drums of an unknown pertroleum
substance in the creek, in the vicinity of the mine.
These pose a potential hazard to the hydrologic
balance.
If installation of permit boundary markers (as required
above) ehowe that the drums are outside the boundary,
the operator must notify this Division of that fact,
and the problem will be considered abated.
If installation of boundary markers ehowe that the
drums are inside the permit, the operator must propose
a plan to eliminate this hazardous condition, as
described in the text of this report. This proposal
must be submitted to this Division by the date shown,
with the commitment to carry it out by a date
sat iefactory to this Division.
CORRECTION
DATE
06/15/96
PB or PV: PS
TOPIC(S): SM
03/15/96
PB or PV: PS
TOPIC(S): 9B,AT
