Water level was 2feet below embankment height. <br />There was no surface flow to the site, but mine water (60 gpm) from a fault encountered in the shaft being <br />driven was being pumped to this pond. The pond was being dewatered by pumps into trucks, and transported <br />to, and dischazged into, Pond D. <br />BACKFILL AND GRADING <br />Areas that require backfill and grading are areas of long-term surface support facilities and underground <br />portals, shafts, and drill holes.
