DMG Durango received your letter, dated 2/13/96, on 2/16/96. The <br />purpose of this letter is to record the status of PB 1, 2, 3 & 4. <br />PB 1 -Issued for absent mine identification sign and affected area perimeter markers at <br />the mill site. Corrective Action was to post identification sign and perimeter markers. <br />Operators response, contained in 2/13/96 letter, stated that the signs had been <br />posted. Operator response did not specifically state that affected area perimeter <br />markers had also been posted. <br />Please clarify whether the "signs" referred to in the 2/13/96 letter, included the <br />affected area perimeter markers. If not, please post affected area markers, as <br />required by Rule 3.1.12(21. <br />PB 2 -Issued for insufficient amount of financial warranty. Notice to increase the <br />financial warranty from the existing $1000.00 to 53071.00 accompanied DMG - <br />12/13/96 inspection report. On 1 /9/96, DMG revised the notice to increase the financial <br />warranty to total 51500.00 rather than the calculated 53071.00, in accordance with <br />Section 34-32-11011)(d)(I) of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act. <br />Operators response, contained in 2/13/96 letter, stated that the additional <br />5500.00 financial warranty had been sent to DMG Denver for processing. <br />DMG Denver has received the 5500.00 increase in financial warranty and is <br />currently processing the increased bond amount. Operator response to PB 2 is <br />adequate at this time. <br />
