III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />The regraded area where the old tipple used to reside has developed <br />a sinkhole aproximately 5' by 5' by 5'. This was marked by to <br />operator to be filled in. This area has exhibited some small <br />subsidence problems and should be monitored carefully throughout <br />the next year. <br />The main access road into the mine and on to the pits was in good <br />condition. Any necessary permitting to bring it into compliance <br />with the new road regulations will be conducted through the renewal <br />process. The detailed legal description is also in the renewal <br />application. Identification signs were properly posted and <br />contained required information. Records were checked and found to <br />be in compliance for this quarter and a records checklist is <br />attached to this report. <br />
