<br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />Revegetation <br />The operator informed me that the new embankments for ponds 3 and <br />4 and the west mine fan site would be seeded this fall. <br />Slides and Damage <br />A slide above the diversion ditch at the west mine fan had <br />partially blocked the ditch. This material has been removed and <br />the ditch is now in good working order. <br />No problems requiring immediate attention, other than the silt <br />fence at the fan level, were noted. <br />CEJ/038inep.901 <br />
