The problems should be corrected <br />by the dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations <br />should be corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by <br />the Mined Land Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should <br />be notified of all corrective actions taken. <br />PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS <br />AND <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Date <br />1. Problem: The operator has deposited several yards of <br />inert construction waste (broken asphalt and concrete with <br />rebar) in the south portion of the pit in possible <br />violation of the permit document, Rule 3.1.5(9) for <br />failure to provide notice of such backfilling activities <br />to the Division, and CRS 34-32.5-116(1) for failure to <br />perform reclamation as prescribed by the reclamation plan. <br />Corrective Actions: Either, 1) submit the required <br />notice under Rule 3.1.5(9)(a-f) (such notice must be <br />submitted to and approved by the DMG prior to 5PM on <br />September 15, 1999) or 2) remove all such construction <br />waste from the permit area by no later than SPM on <br />September 15, 1999. <br />Sept. 15, 1999 <br />PB or PV:PB <br />Topic(s):BG <br />
