III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />• At the Bear Creek site there are plans to remove the large rock that has <br />caused concern for stream diversion and erosion of the west side of the <br />creek. <br />ReveQetation• <br />• Seeding of the Lower Hubbard Creek site, and the Bear Creek site will be <br />performed on 10/10, ii,& 12, 1946. The seed mix will be the all native mix <br />agreed upon by DMG. <br />• Willow cuttings planted along both sides of Bear Creek appear to have be- <br />come established and should help reduce erosion in this area. <br />Slides and Dama>;e: <br />A natural slide on the west side of Bear.Creek may alter this area in a signifi- <br />cant manner. It should be noted that the mining at this location does not ap- <br />pear to be the cause for this slide condition. <br />
