The problems should be corrected by the dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible <br />violations should be corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board. Approximately 1300 linear feet of water conveyance trench approximately 4' wide x 3' deep was OS/ 04 /06 <br />excavated along the west permit boundary immediate)y north of W 8. The trench was <br />unspecified in the mine plan and less than 4 from a fence line that also serves as the west permit <br />boundary. The Mine Plan trap specifies a minimum setback of 25' from the property line in this <br />vicinity, and the Mine Plan specifies that an above ground pipeline be used for conveyance of mine <br />process water. <br />PB or PV: ~g <br />TOPIC(S): ~`1~ <br />Corrective Actions: The operator must backfill the trench excavation and stabilize by re-vegetating <br />with the approved reclamation seed mix or a temporary cover crop approved by the Division. The <br />operator must provide photographs or other evidence verifying completion of these tasks. The <br />operator must also provide a written clarification to the Division of whether a water conveyance <br />pipeline was placed in the trench prior to backfilling. If the pipeline was placed prior to backfilling, <br />then the operator will need to submit a permit modification on or before May 4, 2006 to account for <br />
