Development Waste Pile <br />The development waste pile was traversed on foot. Material added from the pond 7 cleanout <br />has been spread to assist drying. The operator will perform compaction testing this field <br />season. Recently covered south-facing slopes show very little sign of rills or erosion. <br />Improving moisture conditions this year should assist revegetation efforts to further stabilize <br />the slope. Diversion ditches appeared in good condition but some sediment buildup was <br />observed, indicating the need for re-shaping and/or cleanout. <br />Overall, the site appeared in good condition for the late winter season No problems were <br />noted. <br />Subsidence <br />The small subsidence hole above one of the West Mine portals has grown very slightly in <br />size due to recent snow and wet weather. The fence surrounding the hole still <br />encompasses the collapse area and eliminates accidental entry into the hole. <br />
