Drelnage had been restored, with the exception that the sedimentation
ponds remained in place, and will remain until a demonstn~tion had been made that
they are no longer required to treat disturbed area runoff.
Vegetation on the loadout onalated primaAy of kochla with very little grass present.
Some Goer milkvetch and alfalFa was observed where the kochia stand was thinner.
Few erosional features were observed. A small guly had formed on the west end of
the weal aide of the loadout, but the operator had onstructed Dolour fun+ows through
the guly to redirect drainage. K was not yet apparent whether the furrows will be
effective.
Both loadout area sediment ponds were dry. DRches and culverts were stable and in
good ondition. Silt fences were functbnal and maintained. The north group of straw
bales at the east end of the east kradout had been damaged. FOCI needs to replace
the bales or install an equaly effective substitute means of treatment.
Observations made during this inspection indicate the operator has successfuly
regraded the area and reeatabllshed drainage, and is eligible for Phase I release on
the entlre k~adord area.
BwrMrd IbCd7-014 ~ihU30'OtYObt 1,19W
