<br />(Page 3) <br />MZNE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-77-210 <br />INSPECTION DATE 02/01/99 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS AJW <br />The following problems (PB) and/or possible violations (PV) (and suggested corrective <br />actions) were identified during this inspection. The problems should be corrected by the <br />dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be <br />corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all <br />corrective actions taken. <br />PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />CORRECTION <br />DATE <br />1. There is not a appropriate demonstration that Synder <br />Quarry's blasting plan will not adversely affect off- <br />site areas, specifically, Rule 6.5(4) of the <br />Construction Material Rules and Regulations of the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board states, "At sites <br />where blasting is part of the proposed mining or <br />reclamation plan, the Applicant shall demonstrate <br />through appropriate blasting, vibration, geotechnical, <br />and structural engineering analvaes, Chat off-site <br />areas will not be adversely affected by blasting'. <br />Corrective actions are to: <br />1) Submit, in the form of a technical <br />revision to the permit application, <br />an appropriate blasting, vibration, <br />geotechnical and structural <br />engineering analyses, demonstrating <br />that off-site areas will not be <br />adversely affected by blasting. <br />06/30/2000 <br />PB or PV: PB <br />TOPIC(S): AR, <br />EX, MP, OLD <br />
