III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion. of observations.made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions-taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />Hvdroloev <br />There was some ice and snow covered water in Pond B, Pond C and Pond D. Pond embankments <br />appeared to be stable. <br />There was some ditch maintenance work being done at the entrance to the B-seam portal bench excess <br />material storage azea. <br />Silt fence for sediment control at the toe of the outslope of the gob pile haul road is in place and is <br />working. New rows of straw bales were positioned at the coverfill stockpile and at the coverfill topsoil <br />stockpile. . <br />Two soil Stockpile <br />The south-facing slope of the main topsoil stockpile was not snow covered as was the north-facing <br />slope.
