III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations <br />made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during <br />the Inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />Gob Pile <br />The gob pile was in good condition. There were several small piles of gob on top of the pile, <br />waiting for grading and compaction. There was positive drainage on top of the pile. The road <br />culvert and water bar were functional. The collection and diversion ditches were functional as <br />well. The underdrain was exposed behind the pile. The gob pile haul road was watered during the <br />inspection. <br />Sis?ns and Markers <br />Surface disturbance mazkers were up at the minesite, although they have not been put up yet at <br />the train loadout construction site. Mine ID signs were up at the appropriate locations. <br />Records <br />The records were in compliance. Please refer to the following records checklist. <br />c:\ms97\bowie2\insp0502 <br />
