III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />acres and a Phase 2 bond release on about 1500 acres. Most of the <br />major drainages were walked for the bond release inspection. <br />These drainages were West Buzzard, East Buzzard, Far East <br />Buzzard, Coyote, No Name, Johnson, West Pyeatt, Middle Pyeatt and <br />East Pyeatt. The only gullying that was occurring was in the <br />eastern side of the No Name drainage. The operator should repair <br />these gullies. The reclaimed areas up for bond release appeared <br />to have the required vegetative cover. The reclaimed areas also <br />appeared to have a good start on the required species diversity. <br />No problems were observed with the slump area. The operator has <br />submitted a report detailing the monitoring results since the <br />middle of 1995. The operator has requested termination of the <br />monitoring.
