RECLAMATION PLAN
It is planned that reclamation of the affected area will begin as soon as
mining has progressed sufficiently to allow reclamation to begin.
The first phase of reclamation will be to fill in and eliminate as much of the
surface area of the pond formed from mining as possible with the fines returned
from processing. Then the remaining slopes will be contoured to not less than
a three to one slope.
The second phase will be to replace topsoil over the disturbed area at a
minimum depth of at least six inches.
The third thing is to seed the area in accordance with the recommendations of
the Soil Conservation Service. (see Exhibit D) ,
C- The final area and contours of the pond created by mining is unknown as it is
not known how much of the pond will be reclaimed by the return of the fine factions
from the material processing.
The final use for the area after mining will be for wildlife.
