The operator may do some brush and tree clearing in order to improve visibility at this intersection. The haul road from the main haul road to the future gob pile has not been graveled yet. The access road from the portal bench to the water tank area has been established. The conveyor corridor access road is still being worked on. Culverts and Ditches The grate covering needs to be placed on the concrete drop structure at the inlet of culvert C-B18. Map No. 21-1 needs to be corrected to show that culvert C-815 is oriented from the southeast to the northwest, rather than from the southwest to the northeast. Culverts C-C1, C-C2 and C-C3 have recently been installed on the east side of the water tank area. Culvert GE1 and ditch D-E1 at pond C have also been installed recently. There were no problems observed with the culverts and ditches in the field. Sedimer>tation Ponds The primary discharge tube gate valve at pond C was open enough to allow a small stream of water to exit the pond. The discharge vtras clear. The pond water level was at the top of the primary tube. The stream of water collected in ditch D-E1 for a distance of less than 100 feet The operator closed the gate valve.
